Merry Christmas with the Marlins

Merry Christmas to everyone, and thanks to all the readers of this blog for a great 2011. I have had a great holiday season, highlighted by a new 33″ Louisville Slugger, and the promised arrival of a backordered Marlins jersey.

Marlins players are wishing everybody a Merry Christmas as well…in their own ways. If you are new to the Marlins, these tweets reflect the precise qualities of these players’ personalities:

Gaby Sanchez:

“Want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Hope you are all surrounded by good food and your loved ones”

Versus Logan Morrison’s re-tweet:

(From MLB Fan Cave) “Merry Christmas Logan is trending worldwide, it must be a reference to you [Logan]” to which Morrison responded, “Must be a slow day.”

A more selfless and caring one from Mike Stanton:

“Merry XMas!! Focus less on the gifts u unwrap & more on the gifts that were always there. The ones that helped mold the person you are today.”

Steve Chishek’s correctly prioritized Christmas:

“Merry Christmas everyone, [f]or it is by grace you have been saved.”

Other Marlins were active on twitter sharing their Christmas experiences too. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
